Real SphereServer
Invicta runs on SphereServer X. Its movement, combat, scripting, and world behavior come from Sphere itself rather than an imitation on another emulator.
If you played Ye Olde Sphere, this is the same project under a new name. As the shard grew, we renamed it Invicta. We stayed on SphereServer and continued the work that had already begun.
Ye Olde Sphere began as a Renaissance-based SphereServer shard. Over the years, we added classes, talents, encounters, custom systems, and engine work. Invicta is the name we gave the larger project.
Invicta runs on SphereServer X. It is not another emulator configured to resemble Sphere. The movement, combat, scripting, and server behavior still come from the Sphere codebase we have been working on.
Invicta did not restart the project or replace its engine. The systems built during the Ye Olde Sphere years remain part of the shard we are developing now.

Renaissance provides the era and starting point. Sphere's combat, scripting freedom, and familiar server behavior remain part of the shard.
Work continued through the rename. We still develop the shard and the engine, adding systems without replacing the Sphere mechanics they depend on.
If you knew Ye Olde Sphere, Invicta is where that project went. There is more content now and a different name, but it is still built on the same Sphere foundation.
Invicta runs on SphereServer X. We develop on the engine instead of replacing it.
Movement, combat, spellcasting, scripting, and world behavior remain recognizably Sphere.
Invicta includes development from the Ye Olde Sphere years. The rename was not a restart.
